Minnows & Me (M&M)
Age 3 months to 36 months

Our Minnows and Me programs are a great way to spend time with and learn about the water together. For your child, the M&M classes are great fun. For you, M&M classes will be a wonderful way to take advantage of some one-on-one time with your child and learn safe, loving techniques of enjoying the water with your young child as well as strengthening your relationship. And for us, we know the M&M classes are an outstanding way to help your child, at a young age, associate water with pleasure and fun (rather than fear and anxiety), in order to develop a life-long respect and love of the water. We offer Parent/Child Transition classes, M&MT, for children and parents ages 3 to 4 years who are not quite ready to swim without their parent.

Rainbow Fish – Preschool
Age 3 years to 5 years

Our Rainbow Fish program is designed for children, age 3-years to 5 years, who are ready for a water experience without a parent. While safety and fun are our main focus, we instill in each level an importance for great technique in all skills taught In the Rainbow Fish program. Students may have little or no experience with the water and will be taught water adaptation skills: putting their face in the water, assisted floating, assisted kicking, breath holding, etc. The goal is for the children to acquire many skills unassisted in the water. A ribbon or sticker level will follow the colors of the rainbow (ROYGBIVSG) (low skill to high skill). At the final (G) GOLD, your child will be ready to join our Sea Critters program at about Level 4.

Sea Critters – School Age
Age 6 years to 14 years

The Sea Critters program is divided into 10-levels for children age 6 years and up with little or no water experience. The Sea Critters levels will follow a progression that will challenge and positively motivate children to learn skills and techniques for a lifetime of swimming fun. Basic skills of floating, breathing, and elements of all strokes will be introduced. Our Shark level focuses on proper skills for a pre-competitive to competitive swimming experience.
